About the Minnesota March Food Share Campaign and the Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf
The Minnesota March FoodShare Campaign is an annual campaign that helps bring attention to the food crisis many are facing in our local communities and state. The campaign offers an opportunity for you to donate, non-expired, pantry items and/or money to help the Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf restock their shelves. Financial donations and “total pounds of food donated” are tabulated by each food shelf, and reported to the Minnesota FoodShare Campaign, and the Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf will receive a kick-back dollar amount based on the total financial donations across all reporting food shelves. The more they collect, the greater percentage they get back in cash at the end of the campaign.
